Peace is not merely the absence of conflict. At Rotary, we understand it as an active state of social justice, inclusion, respect, and equitable opportunities for all. Under this conviction, peace becomes a shared responsibility. From the most remote communities to global leadership spaces, Rotarians act as agents of social transformation.
The first of Rotary’s seven Areas of Focus — Peacebuilding and Conflict Prevention — is the soul of our movement. With more than 100 years of service above self, Rotary has proven that small local acts can have a profound and lasting international impact.
Durante la 11ª Feria de Proyectos Rotary Colombia 2026During the 11th Rotary Project Fair Colombia 2026, we aim to connect purposeful projects that generate peaceful and resilient environments. From youth leadership and conflict resolution programs to community-based violence mitigation strategies, this fair will be the epicenter of real-world solutions.
Furthermore, the fair will offer a strategic gateway to Rotary crowdfunding, an innovative model that enables clubs, allies, and donors to financially support high-impact social projects. Clubs will be able to present initiatives in this area with diverse approaches:
- School mediation programs in conflict zones
- Peace culture workshops for youth and vulnerable communities
- Community interventions through art, sports, or nonviolent communication
- Alliances with NGOs and restorative justice organizations
